The project partnership consists of one local and two European partners. The coordinating organization is the Turkish Society of Microbiology, and the project partners are the University of Minho from Portugal and the University of Granada from Spain.

It comprises several schools and institutes, including the School of Architecture, School of Scienc es, School of Law, School of Economics and Management, School of Engineering, School of Medicine, School of Nursing, School of Psychology, Institute of Social Sciences, Institute of Education, and Institute of Arts and Humanities. The university was established in 1973 and has been involved in related research since its foundation. The focus of the University of Minho in the field of biosecurity as an area of study has gained substantial attention over the last decade. Activities in the Field of This Application: The University of Minho has been involved in research related to biosecurity and in several erasmus+ projects. The University of Minho caters to a wide range of learners (late teens to adults of all ages), including undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students. Age groups are: 18-35.
